The regulatory environment is changing daily. Proposed rules are often stalled and no longer move forward to finalization. Even when rules are finalized, they may be rescinded shortly after. This constant back and forth makes it hard to know which rules to follow. At ICBA we work diligently to ensure that our training is up to date with the current requirements.
On April 6, 2025, the Online Course Learning Management System was upgraded. Now, when learners open a multi-module course, the first course will automatically launch. This includes certificate programs.
Did you know that when a learner completes a course and passes the test, they can review the questions they answered correctly and view the correct answer for any they missed?

Standard Plan, Custom Plan, and Bank Compliance Bundle subscribers’ renewal invoices are due by Dec. 31 to maintain access to the Online Course Learning Management System. If you have not paid and are concerned a check payment will not arrive in time, you can pay online. Visit www.icba.org, log into your account (Member Login button in upper right), click on your name, scroll down to the open invoices, and pay. You may also call us at 800-422-7285 and we can take payment via credit card over the phone.
Standard Plan, Custom Plan, and Bank Compliance Bundle subscribers paper renewal invoices were mailed Thursday, October 18. A letter is enclosed with the invoice telling you about what benefits you received from your subscription and what you have to look forward to.
Renewal season is coming soon! Standard Plan, Custom Plan, and Bank Compliance Bundle subscribers will be receiving their renewal invoice for the 2025 subscription year next month. Paper invoices will be mailed to the bank the week of Oct. 14. Payment is due by Dec. 31 to continue access to the Online Course Learning Management System in 2025.
Did you know a banker’s profile and training history is based on their email address? Some banks use an email address naming convention that may cause an email address to be used for multiple people over time. This practice has the potential to cause issues with ICBA Online Course training records.
On June 26, we launched five new Community Reinvestment Act courses. These new courses cover the new Community Reinvestment Act Modernization Final Rules published in October 2024 that have an effective date of January 1, 2026.

Recognizing this can be overwhelming we have written easy-to-follow instructions on how to use Excel formulas to narrow down the spreadsheet and find specific information.
Did you know there is a report option in the Learning Management System that allows you to see how many times it took an employee to pass a course test?
Did you know you can search for a course in the Search Courses tab rather than browsing through each of the course catalogs? Enter in a key term and all courses will appear with that key word in the title or description.

On Oct. 18, the course “Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) was updated with the new insurance coverage rules related to Trust Accounts Within the course and in the last newsletter it was stated the effective date is Jan. 1, 2024.
