Sam Friedberg is a Communications Specialist for the Independent Community Bankers of America. Sam helps develop and implement media relations strategy that serves the organization’s mission of creating and promoting an environment where community banks flourish.
Sam assists the Communications team in establishing and growing reporter relationships, proactively pitching media, analyzing the organization’s media performance and effectiveness, as well as drafting and editing communications materials and assisting with other relevant projects.
Sam has experience working on several political campaigns and on Capitol Hill as a legislative intern. Prior to that, Sam served as a Peace Corps volunteer in Madagascar.
He received a Bachelor of Arts degree from James Madison University, where he studied Political Science and Public Policy and Administration. He is currently attending night courses at American University in pursuit of a Masters of Public Policy.
