Courtney Schoenborn

First Vice President, Political Operations and Advocacy


Courtney Schoenborn is first vice president, political operations and advocacy for the Independent Community Bankers of America® (ICBA).

Responsible for designing, managing and executing the direction of ICBA’s political action committee, ICBPAC, Schoenborn works closely with ICBA’s government relations staff to achieve ICBA’s policy objectives. She also supervises and oversees ICBA’s grassroots activities to encourage community bank direct participation in advocacy and lobbying activities.

Schoenborn joined ICBA in 2011. Prior to ICBA, she was a manager of government relations at Deloitte LLP. She also worked as a compliance coordinator for the National Federation of Independent Business.

A certified association executive (CAE), Schoenborn holds a Bachelors of Arts degree in History from the University of Maryland Baltimore County and attended George Mason University School of Law. She also serves on the board of the National Association of Business PACs.
