Trade Deal Cuts Japanese Tariffs on U.S. Farm Goods

Japan will open its markets to roughly $7 billion in U.S. agricultural commodities under new trade deals announced by the White House.

Under the market access agreement, Japan will eliminate or significantly lower tariffs for American beef, pork, poultry, wheat, cheese, wine, and more.

A separate deal includes commitments on digital trade.
