ICBA and other groups asked Senate Finance Committee Chairman Mike Crapo (R-Idaho) to make permanent and expand the Section 199A deduction from 20% to 23%.
ICBA and the other groups said doing so would help preserve tax parity between pass-through businesses and larger public corporations while ensuring the bill does not raise taxes on millions of Main Street businesses.
