ICBA Vice Chairman Alice Frazier to Testify Before House Small Business Committee

Washington, D.C. (Feb. 4, 2025) — Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA) Vice Chairman Alice Frazier, president and CEO of Bank of Charles Town, W.Va., this week will testify before the House Small Business Committee. Helmed by Chairman Roger Williams (R-Texas), “Hope on the Horizon: Prioritizing Small Business Growth in the 119th Congress” is the committee’s first hearing of the 119th Congress.

WHO: Alice Frazier, president and CEO of Bank of Charles Town, a $877 million-asset small business lender serving West Virginia, Maryland and Virginia.

WHAT: Frazier will address key aspects of ICBA's “Transforming Regulation for Growth: The Community Bank Legislative Agenda," including:

  • Providing relief from intrusive and overly burdensome data collection and reporting requirements under the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau’s 1071 small business data collection and reporting rule.
  • Preserving and protecting the integrity of the Small Business Administration's 7(a) and 504 loan programs.
  • Facilitating new sources of community bank capital to support small business lending.
