Senate hearing tomorrow on CDFIs

The Senate Banking Committee is scheduled to meet tomorrow for a subcommittee hearing on community development financial institutions.

CDFI Hearing: Scheduled for 2:30 p.m. (Eastern time) tomorrow, Oct. 17, the Housing, Transportation, and Community Development Subcommittee hearing will spotlight how community development financial institutions promote housing and economic opportunity.

Nomination Meeting: The full committee will meet separately on Thursday to consider several nominations, including Jennifer Fain for FDIC inspector general and Tanya Otsuka to be a National Credit Union Administration board member.
