CISA, FBI issue advisory on MOVEit Transfer vulnerability

The Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency and FBI published a joint cybersecurity advisory with technical information on the CL0P ransomware gang, also known as TA505.

Details: CL0P has reportedly exploited a vulnerability in Progress Software's managed file transfer solution known as MOVEit Transfer to steal data from the solution’s databases. The advisory encourages organizations to implement the recommended mitigations to reduce the impact of this and other ransomware incidents.

OCCIP Alert: Treasury’s Office of Cybersecurity and Critical Infrastructure Protection previously released an alert on the MOVEit Transfer vulnerability. That alert is available to ICBA members on its Cyber and Data Security resource center.
