ICBA Capital Summit underway in Washington

The 2022 ICBA Capital Summit is underway in Washington, with community bankers advocating key issues in the nation’s capital and from back home.

Schedule: Today’s agenda includes remarks from CNN Political Analyst Kirsten Powers, breakout sessions with regulatory officials, and a session with Consumer Financial Protection Bureau Director Rohit Chopra.

ICBA App: Complete details on the Capital Summit schedule, speakers, hotel information, documents, and more are on the interactive ICBA Events app, available on all mobile devices.

Attendee Notices: Schedules for in-person and virtual congressional meetings have been emailed to Capital Summit attendees through state community banking associations and ICBA’s third-party scheduling partner, Soapbox.

Final Schedules: Community bankers who have received a message from Soapbox should review its contents and reach out to ICBA’s John Coleman or their state association with any questions. Physical meeting schedules are also being provided at the summit.

Grassroots Alert: Meanwhile, ICBA is calling on community bankers everywhere to continue sending grassroots messages to congressional offices on key legislative priorities. Available on ICBA’s Be Heard grassroots action center, the message covers SBA direct lending, the ECORA Act, credit unions and the Farm Credit System, cannabis banking, and more.
