ICBA Launches National Convention: Encourages Community Bankers to Lead with Bold Vision and Clear Focus

Lineup includes fintech innovation, education, and inspirational speakers  

 

Orlando, Fla. (March 8, 2020)—Starting today, community bankers, industry leaders and financial experts from across the nation will gather for the 2020 Independent Community Bankers of America® (ICBA) national convention, ICBA LIVE®, at the Gaylord Palms Resort & Convention Center in Orlando. ICBA LIVE is the largest, most comprehensive educational and networking event for the nation’s community bankers. 

Attendees will take part in more than 60 learning sessions with seven different tracks, including lending and deposits; risk, regulation and exams; individual growth and leadership; and technology, payments and innovation. Attendees will kick off a new decade for community banking as they immerse themselves in innovative solutions, education, and unmatched networking opportunities with industry experts. 

ICBA LIVE® will feature general session speakers spanning diverse backgrounds, including history-making polar explorer and mountaineer Alison Levin, motivational speaker and author Kevin Brown, and New York Times bestselling author, entrepreneur, and consultant Diana Kander. ICBA Chairman Preston Kennedy, Chairman-elect Noah Wilcox and ICBA President and CEO Rebeca Romero Rainey are also slated to speak.

The convention will also showcase participants from the second ICBA ThinkTECH Accelerator, in partnership with The Venture Center in Little Rock, Ark., to help foster community bank innovation. Following product demos, attendees will vote for the Community Bankers’ Choice Award for the solution that best suits their business needs.
