Edwards will help ICBA members make the most of their membership
Washington, D.C. (Feb. 20, 2018)—The Independent Community Bankers of America® (ICBA) today announced that Leah Edwards has joined the organization as director, member relations. In this role Edwards will engage with ICBA members to help them make the most of their membership, while working with prospective members to highlight how ICBA can assist them in achieving their business goals and objectives.
“Leah’s government relations and communications experience will be put to good use helping community banks fully leverage ICBA’s premier advocacy, services, education and networking resources,” said Chris Lorence, ICBA group executive vice president of member relations and strategy. “We are excited to welcome Leah to the ICBA member relations team.”
Edwards previously served as senior government relations and communications coordinator for the Maryland Bankers Association. Edwards holds a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Salisbury University in Salisbury, Md.
