Stifel Community Bank Symposium

Stifel, in collaboration with the Independent Community Bankers of America, is excited to announce this year’s Community Bank Symposium on Hilton Head Island in South Carolina, Nov. 12-14.

With a focus on community bank executives and the challenges they are facing, the symposium will feature insight and conversation on topical industry, economic, market, investment, and balance sheet issues.

In addition to educational sessions, the symposium offers the opportunity for executives to network and talk among themselves. Group activity options include golf, fishing charters, cooking experience, and guided tours. A separate email with options to choose an activity (gratis) will be sent to guests after they have registered.

Continued Professional Education (CPE)

Receive up to 7 continued professional education (CPE) credits for participating in the morning educational sessions. Digital certificates will be distributed to all attendees who meet participation requirements following the symposium.

  • Golf Outing (18 holes)
    • The Arthur Hills Course at Palmetto Hall's signature style is fully on display here. Undulated fairways with lots of mounding wind through heavily wooded forests of moss-draped oaks and towering pines that frame the fairways of many holes. Lush fairways and crystalline lakes give way to large greens, with bunkers butted up against the sides, providing golfers with several challenges.
  • Fishing Charter
    • Fish the waters of the South Carolina Lowcountry, whose salt marsh is the largest breeding ground of game fish in North America. Seasonal species include tarpon, redfish, trout, shark, cobia, king & spanish mackerel. Whether a beginner or seasoned angler, your guides will share their deep knowledge and experience to ensure great fishing.
  • Dolphin Eco Tour
    • Depart from Shelter Cove Marina for a casual exploration of the picturesque Broad Creek and surrounding waterways in search of the areas fascinating wildlife. The tidal creeks offer great opportunities to see local and migratory dolphin populations. Distinctive behaviors of the local dolphin are so fascinating that researchers and scientists have sought out this locale for years. Herons, ibis, wood stork, bald eagle and osprey dot the landscape.
  • Pedego Electric Bike Tour
    • There is no better way to discover Hilton Head than on a comfortable seat on a Pedego electric bike. Pedego electric bikes allow riders to travel farther, faster, and breeze through the bike's trails. Enjoy a relaxing tour along the pathways of Hilton Head. The excursion will weave be on paved paths and preserve trails.
