Joint Trades Letter Regarding March 23 Subcommittee on Innovation, Data, and Commerce Markup of Privacy Legislation

ICBA and other groups sent a letter to the House Subcommittee on Innovation, Data, and Commerce on the markup of privacy legislation, including the discussion draft of the American Privacy Rights Act (APRA).

ICBA urged the committee to amend Title I of APRA, which does not include clear language for financial institutions to understand their exemption from the requirements of the bill.
