ICBA expressed support for the Basel Committee’s work to draft a regulatory framework for the presentation of cryptoasset exposures in financial statements. ICBA also recommended that the Basel Committee study concerns about the adoption of cryptocurrencies and work with prudential regulators to ensure that the risks are being appropriately captured in bank disclosures.
