ICBA recognizes World Elder Abuse Awareness Day

ICBA recognized World Elder Abuse Awareness Day by noting ICBA CRA Solutions and its Senior Housing Crime Prevention Foundation are raising awareness of elder financial exploitation and sharing resources to help protect older adults from fraud and abuse.
Details: An ICBA national news release notes that ICBA CRA Solutions is supported by community bank funding and offers elder abuse prevention programs such as Senior Crimestoppers, which operates in majority low-income senior housing facilities.
Elder Financial Abuse Resources: More resources on elder financial abuse prevention—such as training courses, customer handouts, and industry publications—are available on ICBA’s website.
Custom Marketing Tools: Ready-to-use marketing tools for World Elder Abuse Awareness Day and other June events are available on ICBA’s Marketing Resource Center, including its Monthly Content Planner. Community bankers can sign up to be notified each month when new marketing content is available.
