The Treasury Department announced plans to help the up to 8 million households that have not yet been able to access either round of Economic Impact Payments.
Treasury said it will establish new online tools for claiming payments, work to reach households that were issued—but did not cash—their payments, and analyze unserved households to target outreach efforts.
