ICBA submitted comments on the National Credit Union Administration’s proposed amendments to 12 CFR Part 708a, Subpart C, governing the merger of insured credit unions into banks. ICBA said it supports the proposed changes, which represent an incremental and much-needed deregulatory first step that reduces unnecessary procedural burdens.
