ICBA sent a letter to the OCC voicing opposition to the application filed by Modern Treasury Corp. to organize a proposed national trust bank in New York. ICBA urged the OCC to deny the application or defer action until the applicant provides further public disclosure, the public has an opportunity to comment, and the OCC has addressed several legal and supervisory concerns.
