ICBA sent a letter to the Joint Study Committee on UCC Articles 3, 4, and 4A (Payment Fraud) regarding whether there is a package of reforms that would justify the formation of a drafting committee. ICBA said it strongly supports moving forward with forming a drafting committee to draft amendments, comments, or commentary, as appropriate, to the Uniform Commercial Code to address issues related to check fraud.
