ICBA wrote to the OCC in opposition to Agora Atlas Corporation’s application for a national trust bank charter for Agora National Trust Bank. ICBA said Agora’s application is built on an unsound reading of the National Bank Act, leaves the public without the information needed to evaluate it, and, if its application granted, would distort the competitive landscape at community banks' expense.
