The Federal Housing Finance Agency reported that the 60-day delinquency rate for Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac increased to 1.03% in May while the serious delinquency rate held steady at 0.58%. Foreclosure starts declined 2.3% during the month while third-party and foreclosure sales decreased 11.9%.
