ICBA sent comments to the OCC on proposed information collection for Reporting Forms PS-01 and PS-02 for permitted payment stablecoin issuers and foreign payment stablecoin issuers under the GENIUS Act.

ICBA said it supports rigorous reporting requirements for and robust supervision of payment stablecoin issuers, and the proposed forms are starting points for providing supervisory and public visibility into stablecoin activity, reserve composition, issuer condition, and emerging stress.

ICBA also urged the OCC to issue revised forms for additional public comment once core GENIUS Act implementation regulations are finalized so commenters can assess the forms in light of the broader supervisory, reporting, and disclosure regime applicable to PPSIs and FPSIs.
