ICBA sent a letter to the FDIC and OCC regarding their proposals to amend the Community Reinvestment Act regulations. ICBA said that the proposal represents a meaningful step toward a CRA framework that is faithful to the statute, focused on lending, and proportionate in its demands on community banks. ICBA also submitted comments regarding targeted modifications would make CRA changes stronger.
