McKinzie Hopkins serves as Executive Vice President at CorTrust Bank N.A. CorTrust Bank is a $1.5 billion dollar community bank with 37 branches covering eastern South Dakota and eastern Minnesota. At CorTrust McKinzie is responsible for managing the credit underwriting, approval, and collections processes for the Minnesota market.
She also is accountable for the development and compliance with credit policies and portfolio management standards for the Minnesota market, as well as the overall quality of the loan portfolio. McKinzie sits on CorTrust Bank’s Board of Directors and serves as a member of several Bank committees, including Compliance, Retirement, Trust, IT, ALCO, and Credit Cards.
In 2021, McKinzie was recognized by Independent Banker magazine as a 40 Under 40 emerging community bank leader.
In addition to her role with CorTrust Bank, McKinzie serves as a board member for both BankIn Minnesota and the Bank Holding Company Association.
McKinzie holds a B.A. in Accounting from the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, MN and her Juris Doctorate from the University of St. Thomas School of Law in Minneapolis, MN. She is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association and is a licensed attorney in the state of Minnesota.
