Jim Amundson is President and CEO of BankIn Minnesota which has served Minnesota’s community banks since 1962. Jim came to BankIn Minnesota in 2016 after 25-years as a community banker.

Prior to BankIn, Jim launched First Advantage Bank, a de novo community bank, in 2003. He led the bank through start-up, the great recession, recovery, and ultimately a merger with a larger community bank in 2015. Before First Advantage, his experience was focused primarily with Marquette Bank, a $2 billion regional community bank, based in Minneapolis.
