About the Federal Delegate Board

FDB Purpose

The purpose of the Federal Delegate Board (FDB) is to evaluate and address federal legislation, regulations, court rulings, tax, agriculture/rural and lending issues. The FDB recommends legislative and regulatory policy positions to the ICBA Executive Committee and Board of Directors.

The FDB subcommittees (ICBA committees, subcommittees and councils) review and address the current conditions of our advocacy issues. The subcommittees address issues germane to the subject matter of their mission and subcommittee chairmen will forward any recommendations to the chairman of the Federal Delegate Board for consideration. Each delegate on the FDB will also serve on an ICBA committee, subcommittee or council.

In addition to serving as an ICBA Ambassador and representing their state on advocacy issues, FDB members assist with building ICBA membership, support the ICBA PAC, attend annual meetings and participate in the online ICBA Community forum and utilize an promote ICBA services.
