As part of the Economic Growth and Regulatory Paperwork Reduction Act of 1996 (“EGRPRA”), the three banking agencies (i.e., the FDIC, Federal Reserve and the OCC, but not the CPFB) are reviewing their regulations to identify outdated or otherwise unnecessary regulatory requirements on insured depository institutions and their holding companies.
