ICBA joined 22 farm-related organizations on a letter sent to House Appropriations Committee members urging them to reject amendments that would significantly alter the new farm bill. The letter-intended to prevent siphoning money from or making major alterations to the recently enacted farm bill-was sent in advance of a full committee markup of the fiscal year 2003 ag appropriations bill that will determine funding for key USDA programs.
