Tool Shop—ICBA Independent Banker's New Product and Service Section

ICBA Independent Banker has launched a new monthly editorial department called Tool Shop. Tool Shop is designed to give community bankers the latest information on new products and services useful to community banks.

Companies serving the community bank marketplace are encourage to e-mail new product and service announcements to newproducts@icba.org. No phone calls, please.

Announcements will be evaluated for publication based on three criteria:

  • Value to community banks. All products and services must be available and useful to community banks, if not specifically developed for them.
  • Timeliness. Only new products and services will receive editorial coverage. A minor change to an existing product or service line would not qualify.
  • Innovation. Submissions should demonstrate how a new product or service is distinct and special within the marketplace.

Announcements should include contact information and a brief paragraph addressing the criteria for consideration (value, timeliness and innovation).

Please note that submission does not guarantee placement.

Electronic images of products are welcome but must be print quality (300 dpi for 3 by 5 inch size). TIFF and JPEG files are preferred.
