Washington, D.C. (May 20, 2011)-The Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA) today announced the promotion of Aleis Stokes to vice president, media and public relations. In this new position, Stokes will be responsible for ICBA's media and public relations efforts to communicate ICBA's key policy positions and the positive story of the nation's community banks. "ICBA is thrilled to announce the promotion of Aleis Stokes to vice president. Throughout the past two years, and especially during the throes of the financial regulatory reform debate, Aleis has proven to be an invaluable member of the ICBA communications team," said Chris Lorence, ICBA senior vice president and chief marketing officer.
