ICBA Bancard Awarded for Long-Time Participants
Orlando, Fla. (March 3, 2008)—ICBA Bancard, the payments services subsidiary of the Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA), recognized long-time program participants and high-volume producers with rebate checks totaling almost $3 million at the ICBA 2008 National Convention and Techworld, March 2-5 in Orlando, Fla.
"In the last three years alone, ICBA Bancard has returned $8.5 million to community banks that participate in its credit card programs," said Charles Saeman, ICBA Bancard chairman and president and CEO, State Bank of Cross Plains, Wis. "These funds are in addition to the significant revenue participating banks earned from the products themselves and underscore ICBA Bancard's commitment to the success and prosperity of community bank credit card issuers."

The rebates are based on the total sales volume for cards processed through ICBA Bancard's programs with Fidelity National Information Services and for participation in the program for five years or more.
