ICBA Bancard and MasterCard Affiliate Announce Major Debit Card Seminar

ARLINGTON, VA. - On Sept. 22, 2004, in Bloomington, Minn., ICBA Bancard, the payments services subsidiary of the Independent Community Bankers of America, will assemble several of the Electronic Funds Transfer industry's top strategic theorists for a unique, one-day seminar geared specifically for community bankers. "Power in Plastic: Debit Cards Ignite a Payment Revolution" will address the economic and marketplace realities that impact the acceptance, innovation, and maturation of e-commerce payments.

ICBA Bancard has arranged for experts from MasterCard Advisors™, an affiliate of MasterCard International, to speak on a variety of topics including consumer attitudes toward PIN and signature, growth trends, and compelling debit revenue opportunities such as loyalty programs and proximity payments products. All topics addressed will be discussed from the community bankers' perspective.
