NACHA Sponsors ICBA’s Social Media Monitor

Washington, D.C. (Aug. 20, 2012)—The Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA) today announced NACHA—The Electronic Payments Association as the new sponsor of its premier social media monitoring solution, Social Media Monitor, the first and only solution created exclusively for community banks. The ICBA Social Media Monitor is a no-cost online tool that enables ICBA members to stay connected and engage with their customers on a wide range of social media platforms and measure influence.

“The importance of social media has grown tremendously over the past few years, and more community banks are leveraging this powerful communications channel to build relationships with their customers,” said Chris Lorence, ICBA executive vice president/chief marketing officer.  “As relationship lenders, building rapport with their customers continues to be a priority for community banks, and thanks to social media, they have new avenues for reaching their customers and are able to be part of their social conversation.  This ultimately helps them gain insight into customers’ needs so they can work to meet those needs while also fostering loyalty.”
