Andrew Silsby is President & CEO of Kennebec Savings Bank, a role he has held since 2014. Andrew has more than 40 years of banking experience and has worked at Kennebec Savings Bank for over 33 years, holding various positions throughout his career within the Bank (Senior Lender, Head of Operations and IT, Treasurer, and President). Andrew serves on numerous nonprofit boards within the Bank’s market area (theaters, chambers of commerce, boards of trade and various finance & investment committees).
Kennebec Savings Bank is a 156 year old mutual savings bank with $1.8 billion in assets, seven branches and 207 employees that operates in central part of the State of Maine.
Andrew serves on the ICBA Board of Directors, where he is Chair of the Innovations & Solutions Committee. He is also a member of the Federal Delegate Board and the ICBA Payments Board of Directors. He previously chaired the Legislative Issues Subcommittee and served on the Mutual Bank Council.
