Federal banking regulators released data on small business, small farm, and community development lending during 2025, as required by the Community Reinvestment Act.
Details: There were 720 reporting lenders in 2025, down from 732 the year before. They reported roughly 8.9 million small-business loans totaling nearly $291 billion.
