Washington, D.C., has taxi, airport shuttles, rideshare, and public transit options.

Metro Train

The Washington, D.C., area has a robust public transit system. Both hotels are near the Metro stations:

National Airport (DCA) is on the Yellow line. Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) is on the Silver line. Washington Union Station (WAS) is on the Red line.

MARC (Maryland Area Rail Commuter) provides train service from Baltimore/Washington Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI) to Washington Union Station.

Taxi

Fares listed are an estimate depending on traffic.

  • From National Airport (DCA) – approximately 5 miles.
    Estimated one-way taxi fare: $25-40

  • From Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) – approximately 27 miles
    Estimated one-way taxi fare $50-75

  • From Baltimore/Washington Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI) – approximately 33 miles
    Estimated one-way taxi fare $60-80

Valet parking per day is $58, oversized vehicles $68 + applicable tax. 

  • Sunday, April 28 – Welcome reception and committee meetings are business casual (no neck ties).

  • Monday, April 29 – Committee/breakfast meetings, group lunch meeting, and issue briefings are business casual.

  • Tuesday, April 30 – Breakfast and Hill visits are business dress with coat and tie.

  • Wednesday, May 1 – Breakfast and Hill visits are business dress with coat and tie. Board of directors and Federal Delegate Board meetings are business casual.

Pop-up rain showers are always a possibility this time of the year, so you may want to pack an umbrella.
