CFPB announces data collection, reporting flexibility

The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau said it is providing flexibility to enable financial companies to work with customers in need as they respond to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The CFPB said it is postponing Home Mortgage Disclosure Act data reporting and reporting of some information related to credit card and prepaid accounts. It also postponed surveys related to Section 1071 of the Dodd-Frank Act and Property Assessed Clean Energy financing.
