First International Bank & Trust Heather Gillihan Wins Odin Award

Minot, ND – First International Bank & Trust (FIB&T) is proud to announce that Heather Gillihan, of our Minot Broadway location, was the recipient of the 2017 Odin Award, from First International Bank & Trust.

Heather was nominated by her fellow colleagues for her loyalty, commitment to excellence and dedication to FIB&T and her community year over year. Heather has chosen Souris Valley Humane Society as her charity of choice for her $5,000.00 donation.

The Odin Award is an employee award that gives recognition each year to the person who has consistently demonstrated the Bank’s mission, vision and values. Employees are nominated by their fellow employees who have demonstrated the Mission, Vision and Values at an exemplary level.

“Winning this award is very special to me since it comes from my fellow teammates and peers,” Heather said. “There are so many wonderful people who work at First International, so to be chosen as the recipient means so much.” Gillihan shares.

“I chose the Souris Valley Humane Society because my husband and I were not blessed with children, so our two dogs mean the world to us, and my heart breaks for all the animals who are waiting for their forever home or are in need of a temporary home until they can return to their owners.” Heather said. “I’m hoping that this donation will help the SVHS staff continue their mission of helping provide a safe home to those that need it, and help them continue to expand their animal advocacy and other programs that are so vital to our community.”

Heather’s favorite part of working at FIB&T is being a part of a very dedicated team that puts our customers, family, and communities first. She has been employed at FIB&T for nearly 22 years and is currently the SVP/Director of Compliance & Audit.

Congratulations Heather Gillihan on the well-deserved award!
