GREENVILLE, N.C. - May 15, 2017. Select Bank & Trust (the “Bank”) named Ben Pham as commercial lender for the Bank’s Fayetteville market, announced David B. Goodyear, senior vice president and regional executive for the bank.
Pham will be responsible for commercial lending and business development efforts in the bank’s Fayetteville market. His office will be located at the full service branch located at 2818 Raeford Road in Fayetteville.
“With Ben’s extensive experience in commercial lending and more than a decade of service to Cumberland County, in this specific market, he is a great fit for Select Bank,” Goodyear said. “We know he’ll be an asset to our team and to customers.”
Pham, who lives in Fayetteville, has worked in the banking industry for 13 years. In 2008 he left the industry to operate his family business, the well-known Hay Street Shoe Shop in downtown after his father’s death. He and his family closed the business this year, allowing Pham to return to banking.
He has served in various aspects of banking from branch manager to business lender and as a licensed financial service representative for investments. Most recently he served as financial service manager.
Pham has volunteered for more than five years with the Fayetteville Parks and Recreation as a soccer and basketball coach for youth leagues.
