ICBA Bancard Names EVP of Product, Sales and Marketing

Washington, D.C. (Jan. 25, 2019)—ICBA Bancard, the payment-services subsidiary of the Independent Community Bankers of America® (ICBA), today announced that Jean-Ann Langert has joined the organization as executive vice president of business development, client relations and marketing.

“Jean-Ann is a talented and well-respected payments professional whose extensive banking experience will serve community banks well during this transformative and pivotal time in our industry,” said ICBA Bancard President and CEO Tina Giorgio. “We are pleased to welcome Jean-Ann to the ICBA Bancard team and look forward to seeing the exciting opportunities and partnerships she will forge with community banks across the nation.”

In her new role, Langert will manage sales and business development efforts at ICBA Bancard, leading the development and launch of community bank payment-related offerings. She will also oversee ICBA Bancard’s marketing initiatives and its client relations division, which provides ongoing service to existing direct issuers and agent bank clients.

Langert joins ICBA Bancard from FIS, where she served in various capacities, most recently on the Innovation and Concepts team of the Product Management division. In this role, she worked with executive management to identify, develop and bring new products to market in line with the company’s target market and business strategy. Prior to joining FIS, she deployed EMV chip card technology across Europe for Mastercard Inc. She also brings significant management and marketing experience from positions held at BAS Consultancy and Thomson Reuters.

Langert holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Pace University and a Master of Art History from the City University of New York.
