Senate Passes Spending Bill with SBA, Flood Funds
The Senate voted 82-15 to send legislation extending key programs to the White House to be signed into law ahead of Monday’s deadline.
The spending bill, which the House passed last week, includes special funding needed to keep the Small Business Administration’s 7(a) guaranteed lending program running. It also extends the National Flood Insurance Program and USDA payments to agricultural producers affected by U.S.-China trade disputes.
ICBA has been calling on Congress to approve these extensions to avoid needless disruptions.
