An Iowa credit union is changing its name after the state government barred credit unions from using public university names in their titles. According to CUToday, the $5.3-billion University of Iowa Community Credit Union said it plans to change its name to GreenState Credit Union. The university board of regents expressed specific concerns about the misconception that the credit union is affiliated with the university.
