Harrison Powers
Harrison Powers has over 9 years of public accounting experience, specializing in auditing, accounting, and consulting services for financial institutions. Harrison serves community banks supervising specialty bank services, including reporting on effectiveness on internal control, FDICIA, and HUD compliance reporting, and he provides assurance, internal audit, and other agreed‐upon procedures to community financial institutions and related entities. He is knowledgeable in other compliance requirements with ACH and BSA business and individual tax experience.
Harrison earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in Plan II Honors and English from the University of Texas at Austin. He then received his Masters of Accounting from the University of Texas at Dallas and attended Southwestern Graduate School of Banking. He is an endorsed Service Provider for Independent Bankers Association of Texas as well as a Speaker and Member of Subchapter S Bank Association. As a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Texas he is also a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants.
