Investing in employee professional development and growth can be a game-changer for your bank as it looks to the future and its customers’ needs.

ICBA’s Community Banker University Online Training Plans offer more than just regulatory compliance courses. Make sure you are looking at all of the options available to you in the course catalog. Consider enrolling your employees in certain leadership courses, communication courses, and other topics outside of their normal job function. There are over 300 courses for you to choose from. For those banks that are only subscribed to our Online Bundles, consider upgrading to the Standard Plan and expand your banks training program. Review the course listing and course catalog.

What’s New

On March 15we launched updated versions of the following courses to include information on the new Prepaid Account Rules effective April 1, 2019:

  • Regulation E: Electronic Funds Transfer Act
  • Regulation Z: Credit Card Rules
  • Credit Cards and Debit Cards

If an employee is newly enrolled in this course as of March 15, the learner will automatically receive the updated course.

If an employee was previously enrolled in the course, but did not start the course, the learner will automatically receive the updated course.

If an employee was previously enrolled in the course, started the course, but did not finish, and you want them to receive the new course content, you will need to unenroll the learner from the course and reenroll them. The learner will have to start from the beginning.

You can pull a report to see your employee’s status for these 3 specific courses by clicking the option “Activity Report for Select Non-Bank Director Courses.” Enter your enrollment date range, select the three courses (hold down Ctrl) and click next.

What’s Coming

We are currently working on the following new courses and products for online training:

  • Eleven new HSA and IRA courses: These will be included with the full course catalog subscriptions
  • Three new Payments courses: These will be included with the full course catalog subscriptions
  • New Principles of Banking Certificate Program: This will be available for purchase for both individual and bank-wide use

Did You Know?

Did you know that there are now four ways in which you can enroll employees into courses?

  1. Enrollment for Single Employee
  2. Bulk Enroll All Employees in a Course
  3. Bulk Enroll Select Employees in a Course
  4. Bulk Enroll Select Employees in Select Courses

The current Administrator’s Guide provides instructions on how to use each of these options.

Note: An updated Administrator’s Guide will be published and sent to all LMS Administrators in April when we launch the new roster management system.
