Apr 11, 2017

Washington, D.C. (April 11, 2017)—ICBA Bancard, the payments services subsidiary of the Independent Community Bankers of America® (ICBA), has been endorsed by the Community Bankers Association of Ohio (CBAO). This marks the 36th state banking association to give its seal of approval to ICBA Bancard, which provides credit, debit, small business and prepaid banking solutions, to community banks.

“Consumers demand a wide-range of payment offerings to suit their busy lifestyles and evolving payment needs. Thanks to economies of scale, ICBA Bancard can help Ohio community banks deliver these products and services to their customers in a cost-effective manner,” said ICBA Bancard Chairman Noah Wilcox, who also serves as chairman and CEO of Grand Rapids State Bank in Grand Rapids, Minn. “We are honored to join CBAO in its quest to help community banks in Ohio gain economic and competitive advantages.”

ICBA Bancard is the 25th largest credit card portfolio and the 19th largest debit card portfolio in the country and generates more than $23 billion in annual sales volume. ICBA Bancard provides nearly 2,400 community banks with the best industry pricing, along with access to proven education and marketing programs and top of the line consultative and client support. In addition, ICBA Bancard clients receive access to innovative programs such as the exclusive Fraud Loss Protection Plan.

“We are proud to partner with ICBA Bancard and help community bankers across our great state realize their card portfolio’s potential,” said Robert Palmer, president and CEO of the Community Bankers Association of Ohio. “Like CBAO, ICBA Bancard is committed to ensuring a prosperous future for the nation’s community banks.”
