ICBA Extends Relationship with SBA Lending Specialists Holtmeyer & Monson

Orlando, Fla. (March 17, 2010)—The Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA) today announced that it has extended its agreement with Holtmeyer & Monson as an ICBA Preferred Service Provider through 2012. The new agreement will allow ICBA community bank members continued access to Holtmeyer & Monson’s Small Business Administration (SBA) lending and consulting services.

“During these challenging economic times, when small-business lending couldn’t be more critical to America’s communities, ICBA is pleased to extend its relationship with Holtmeyer & Monson,” said Dan Clancy, ICBA senior vice president of services. “Our nation’s nearly 8,000 community banks make about half of all small-business loans. It’s imperative that community banks have a reliable resource such as Holtmeyer & Monson to help them continue to lend to small-business customers within their communities.”

An ICBA Preferred Service Provider since 2006, Holtmeyer & Monson specializes in assisting community banks with a wide range of SBA loan services, including application processing, loan underwriting and portfolio management. Additionally, H&M handles the securitization and sale of loans for banks that want to sell the guaranteed portion of their SBA loan portfolio.

“ICBA is the premier trade association for the nation’s community banks, so it is an honor to be a preferred provider for its members,” said Arne Monson, principal of Holtmeyer & Monson. “We look forward to extending our relationship with community banks through ICBA as we continue to help them to increase their small-business lending to benefit the communities they serve.”

“Since partnering with Holtmeyer & Monson in 2008, ICBA member Brighton Bank has become Tennessee’s third-largest SBA lender and this year will be honored as SBA’s Top Dollar Producer for Community Banks in Tennessee,” said Brad Hailey, president of Brighton Bank, Brighton, Tenn. “Together with Holtmeyer & Monson, we are able to truly meet the needs of the small businesses in our community. We look forward to continuing this successful partnership with such a respected and results-oriented company.”
