David Lynch Joins ICBA as Vice President, Congressional Relations
Washington, D.C. (March 1, 2010)—The Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA) announced today that David H. Lynch has joined ICBA as vice president, congressional relations. In this role, Lynch will advocate on behalf of community banks before Congress, financial regulatory agencies and the executive branch.
“ICBA is pleased to welcome David to our government relations team,” said Steve Verdier, executive vice president of congressional relations. “David brings a vast array of congressional relations experience to ICBA which will help us continue to promote policies that benefit our nation’s nearly 8,000 community banks before members of Congress and the administration.”
Prior to joining ICBA, Lynch served as senior director, congressional relations for Freddie Mac where he primarily worked with the House Financial Services and Ways and Means Committees. Lynch also spent more than a decade with the National Association of Realtors, serving as a legislative representative, managing director of political and state affairs, director of political communications and regional political director. Prior to the National Association of Realtors, Lynch worked on Capitol Hill.
