ICBA Renames Quarterly Services Publication ICBA Profitability Solutions
Washington, D.C. (March 18, 2008)—Network News, a quarterly newsletter published by the Independent Community Bankers of America's Services Network, has been renamed ICBA Profitability Solutions. Originally published as an eight-page bulletin, the newsletter has grown to a 20-page glossy magazine that highlights the product and service offerings of ICBA's five subsidiaries and its preferred service providers.
ICBA member community banks chose the new name in an online survey. The new name more accurately reflects the publication's overall objective-to give community banks the information and tools they need to increase their profitability by decreasing costs, increasing revenue and strengthening small business and consumer relations through the product and service offerings of ICBA and its vendor partners.
"The genesis of ICBA Profitability Solutions is our core belief that community banks are the foundations of the communities they serve," said Marti Rodamaker, ICBA Services Network chairman and president of First Citizens National Bank in Mason City, Iowa. "We make every effort to give our readers the breadth and depth of credible, authoritative information they need to support their business goals."
ICBA Profitability Solutions discusses best practices and emerging products and trends as they relate to payments, mortgage lending, investment and insurance. Contributing writers are almost always subject-matter experts who shape their advice and recommendations with the community banker in mind.
