California Executive Joins ICBA
Washington, D.C. (May 17, 2006)—The Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA) is pleased to announce that David C. Haithcock has joined ICBA as senior vice president-Western Regional Operations. Haithcock will work out of the ICBA's western regional office in southern California.
"ICBA is fortunate to have an experienced professional like David working on ICBA's behalf in the western region" said Camden R. Fine, ICBA president and CEO. "Community banks and ICBA will benefit greatly from David's unique combination of experience working with elected officials, bank regulators, and directly with community banks."
Haithcock will work together with Craig Hudson, ICBA Western Regional Director and Executive Director of the California Independent Bankers in promoting the interests of ICBA members in the western region of the nation. "I worked with David for over seven years and I am very pleased that he is rejoining the ICBA family," said Hudson.
David was director of government relations for GC Services/First Community Bancshares in Laguna Hills, Calif., where he provided guidance on a public policy issues and promoted legislation to further enhance the company's ability to compete. He has also served as executive director of the California Mortgage Bankers Association in Sacramento, Calif., where he was responsible for operations and administration. He was with ICBA for eight years, from 1994 to 2002, as director of bank relations and was responsible for working with bank executive officers and directors.
