ICBA Announces Promotions
Services Development Staff Members Recognized
Washington, D.C. (July 19, 2005) - The Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA) today announced two staff promotions in its products and services division to complement its recent organizational realignment.
Dan Clancy, ICBA's director of services, was promoted to vice president. Ben Buehler, associate director of services, has been promoted to director of services.
"As the financial services industry continues to consolidate and becomes even more competitive, ICBA members will more than ever count on the ICBA to deliver products and services that enhance their banks' performance," said Camden R. Fine, president and CEO of ICBA. "These promotions underscore ICBA's commitment to providing member banks with these key services."
Clancy oversees the research, development and management of ICBA's new and existing corporate product-and-services alliances. He reports to Gary Teagno, ICBA executive vice president and president and CEO of the ICBA Services Network.
A graduate of the University of Southern Maine, Clancy joined ICBA in 1999. Before joining ICBA, he worked with a professional membership association overseeing the development of member affinity programs, among other responsibilities.
Working with association members and staff, Buehler's expanded role involves researching and developing new services programs and managing relationships with a number of ICBA corporate service providers. In addition to taking on new management responsibilities, he will continue to work with the ICBA Bank Services Committee.
A graduate of the University of Kansas, Buehler joined ICBA in 2003. Prior to joining ICBA, he managed the non-dues revenue division of a national professional society. In that position, he was responsible for identifying, developing and launching non-dues revenue programs.
